CHIPPEWA FALLS, WI -- It's September again and for us here at the Hands Foundation that means it's time for the annual "Veterans Appreciation Night" event hosted by the Chi-Hi Cardinals. 

The Cardinals, hosting Eau Claire Memorial tonight, have honored us with their commitment to the Homeless Veterans Project for the past four years. They continue to amaze us with their support. 

Last year during a money raising event titled the "Miracle Minute" the Cardinal's fans along with fans from the road team donated a staggering $2800 in one minute's time. That money went a long way to support the the Homeless Veterans Project, which we started with our long time partner Every Third Saturday.

Please go and support the Cardinals at their game tonight and bring items to help the Veterans. As always, winter gear (boots, coats, hats, long johns, socks, etc.) will be vital in the coming months.
